Love 3:16 was written in the backdrop of a
simple idealism: "The love we demonstrate for ourselves and for each other should mirror the affection that the eternal guardian & provider of the universe offers unto us." It is a literary devotional analyzing the scripture of John 3:16; bringing to life a contemporary view of how our love for each other should mirror that of divinity. My goal is that this manuscript will serve as a sort of conversation piece, one that will not only spark a substantive dialogue about "love," but force us to analyze how we choose to exercise it.

“In putting this book together, my process was to create a collection of verses that would tell a story, making it effortless to enjoy and at the same time inviting you, the reader, into a temporary state of emotional being. Successfully doing so has made this book very unique, in that it is a biography, letter, diary, script, and novel, all disguised as poetry. It represents a state of physical, spiritual, and rational sensation, beginning as a description of romantic innocence, and evolves to demonstrate levels of social consciousness, spirituality, physical expression, disappointment, misunderstanding, passionate reconnection, and finally the “credits roll” in light of an epiphany: “Dear Love,…” I hope that you will use this as inspiration to explore your own hidden passions and have the courage to release them creatively in facing emotionally and spiritually charged experiences.”
